Title:                63rd Annual Ogden Surgical Medical Society Conference:
Updates in New Technology & Treatment Protocols

The 63rd Annual OSMS Conference offers topics that will be of interest to both the specialist and the generalist alike. This year’s lectures will include the popular What’s New in my Specialty? and feature a Family Practice Resident presentation. In addition, excellent general session luncheon lectures include Stem Cell Implants to Treat Spinal Cord Injury; Using Hormones to Enhance Performance in the Aging (Cenegenics); and The Establishment of a Free Medical Clinic.

General sessions will be offered along with breakout sessions on all three days. Topics range from pediatric topics such as Childhood Depression and Growth Hormones for the Pediatric Patient to surgical topics such as Prostate Surgery Using the DaVinci Robot, and medicine topics such as Hypertension Treatment Updates and DVT Prophylaxis.

Ophthalmology will also hold a concurrent session on Thursday featuring two well known ophthalmologists, William F. Meiler, M.D., and Debra A. Goldstein, M.D., speaking on Retina Conditions and Uveitis Syndromes.
